M. VIVALDELLI RECEIVES CERTIFIED TURNAROUND
PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATION
CHICAGO,
Ill. –April 22, 2007
– Thomas M. Vivaldelli of Scottsdale,
Arizona has been awarded the professional
designation of Certified Turnaround
Professional (CTP).
Thomas Vivaldelli is a founder of Distressed
Real Solutions, LLC, where he is responsible
for strategic planning, investments,
project selection and oversight. The
Firm’s focus is to return commercial
real estate projects to profitability
and facilitate an appropriate exit strategy.

also a principal of Property Recovery,
LLC, a firm that acts as trustee and
asset facilitator for regulated institutions.
He is a member and former director of
the Turnaround Management Association
(TMA) Arizona Chapter.
Mr. Vivaldelli has
personally structured and placed over
$1 Billion of commercial real estate
financing as well as having been responsible
for the turnaround of a $400 Million
commercial real estate loan portfolio.
Mr. Vivaldelli started his career with
the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
He has an MBA in finance and investments.
The CTP designation provides an objective
measure and recognition of expertise
related to workouts, restructurings
and corporate renewal. Applicants must
meet specific standards of education,
experience, and professional conduct.
They must also successfully complete
a rigorous examination that covers financial
and managerial accounting and tax, turnaround
and crisis management, and bankruptcy
and UCC law. CTPs are required to participate
in continuing education programs to
maintain their certification.
The Association
of Certified Turnaround Professionals,

organization dedicated to developing,
monitoring, and maintaining a program
of certification for professionals engaged
in the turnaround, crisis management,
restructuring and renewal of troubled
businesses, organizations and associations.
